Problem with wildcard monitoring in -current

I have just downloaded and installed the -current version with a current
1.4 branch of asterisk.

Here are two of the buttons from my config:

All my SIP extensions have username of polycom_<letter><number> where
one number is assigned to each 'line' on the polycom handset. So one
IP600 phone will use the following 6 users:
polycom_a1
polycom_a2
polycom_a3
polycom_a4
polycom_a5
polycom_a6

That is why I used the above wildcard for the buttons. Anyway, when I
call a single extension *EVERY* button animates as if I have called all
of the extensions.

I have a couple of old SIP users like gs102_<number> and there are a
couple of buttons (not wildcard) in the conf, but these few buttons
don't show as ringing.

Can anyone offer some suggestion as to why all the buttons show as
ringing? Probably my config is wrong I assume?
