Hi,

When I display the Flash Operator Panel, I can see my extensions listed
in the area called "Extensions" and I also see those devices that are
registered with my asterisk server under the area "Trunks" (which I
renamed "Devices - Registration Status" so I'd remember what these were
!!)

Now, I read that it is possible to initiate a call between two parties
by dragging the wee phone icon from one party (the Originator) to
another (the called party). However, I can't seem to get this to
work....is it the numbers listed in "Extensions" that have this
functionality or the numbers listed under "Trunks" (or in my case
"Devices - Registration Status") ?

When I try this using the icons in the Extensions list, nothing happens
at all. When I try using icons under the "Trunks" list, the originating
number (i.e. the icon I drag) rings (my xlite client comes to life and
rings), but when I answer there's no corresponding ring of the called
number (where I dragged the icon to). I also see the following error
message: "Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
./op_server.pl line 6265".

Can anyone explain what is going on here - I'm getting very confused
with what each of the screen areas is actually supposed to do. I
suspect I am missing something.

Regards,

Jim
