That's a great idea. It might be an idea to look at some of the web apps in the 
Fedora Core 6 Extras directory and the Fedora guidelines. They have beefed up 
support and development of RPM's and these guidelines might become the standard 
for all RPM's.

FOP can perhaps then be submitted for inclusion in Fedora Extras as an add on 
for OpenPBX which is also in Fedora Extras.

I have a little experience with making RPM's so if you need some help let me 
know.

Hi Andrea,

op_server.pl from trixbox was patched to use the configuration from 
amportal.conf. Standard FOP does not include those patches... I will try 
to coordinate with freepbx mantainer to include support for 
amportal.conf in the standard fop install and make life easier to me, 
and all the freepbx/trixbox comunity.

If you want to use the new op_server.pl, you will have to fill 
op_server.cfg with the correct information (fill the UNUSED fields with 
the real info). Another thing you should do, or any freepbx/trixbox user 
for that matter, is to NOT have the config files in the web directory 
but someplace else. You only need an index.html and operator_panel.swf 
on that directory. op_server.pl and the config files can leave happily 
(and much more safely) OUTSIDE the web root.

I will make an RPM for FOP.. storing the dameon in one place, config 
files under /etc/asterisk/fop, log files in /var/log/fop, etc...
