ok, thanks for the response. well what's happening is basically because of
Trixbox/FreePBX/AMP and not really FOP. I'm not sure about Trixbox V2, but on
earlier versions of trixbox/A@x, you need to make certain changes to the layout
in /var/www/html/admin/retrieve_op_conf_from_mysql.pl  (can't guarantee the
preciseness of that path) The path might also be:
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/retrieve_op_conf_from_mysql.pl

In that file you'll see lines like the following:

######## STYLE INFO #########
$extenpos="1-27,29-31,33-45";
$trunkpos="46-60";
#$confepos="";
#$queuepos="42-50,61-70";

Notice how in the code that i pasted above that the lines for queues and
conferences are commented out which in essence does not display them at all.
Notice how you can specify the range of positions that trunk and extension
buttons can consume.

What i would recommend is make whatever changes you need to the position ranges
of the buttons and then go and make whatever changes you need to make in
FreePBX/AMP and when you save/apply those changes, the
retrieve_op_conf_from_mysql.pl script will be run and (all other things being
OK) FOP should act based on the changes to the positions you made.

I hope i haven't been too vague or unclear. If you have any more questions,
just respond back.

are you using trixbox or Asterisk@xxxx or something of that nature? It
sounds like your FOP configuration files are getting overwritten when you
make changes in AMP/FreePBX etc...

Let us know what you're using and we can probably alleviate your
frustration.

Hi

I have trying to modify the FOP layout to get rids of queues and parking
lots

because I am not using these features.

I have more than 40 extensions, and only one outbound trunk.

What I want is to display all extensions in more than three columns, and

I want my trunk to be displayed at the same position of the parking lots.

However, whenever I try to edit the extensions or add or delete extensions

the panel will went wrong with the zap back to position=52?

How do I retain all these default setting during extension maintenance?

Which files to look at?

Chu
