callerid name not showing up

Hi,
how can I get the panel to show caller names?
My dialplan is like
exten => 12345,1,agi(findname.pl)
exten => 12345,2,dial(IAX2/phone1&IAX2/phone2)
so when the call comes in there is no name yet.
The agi is setting callerid to "name"<number> and the phones are showing the
name correctly.
Would some userevent inside the AGI help?
