Thanks for the info Nocolas,

I have it working now.

There is no mention of it anywhere on the internet that I could find but in
addition to leaving the "hostname" blank in op_server.pl I also had to leave
"AMPWEBADDRESS" blank in amportal.conf. Both these statements need to be
uncommented.

Since FOP in integral to FreePBX or visa versa depending on how you look at
it, you would think there would be a mention of it somewhere in the FreePBX
or FOP documentation but nothing!

Hello,

I do not have linux firewall installed.

Telnet to port 4445 shows it's connected.

Gonna need someone onsite to see what debug is showing when I try get
in remotely so that will have to wait. I see that port 5038 is set in
manager.conf and there was mention of forwarding that on the firewall
in the FOP documentation. I tried that but it didn't help.

When the leds flash, it means that the flash client (that is, from your
browser) cannot connect to the port specified to listent to in op_server.cfg
(default is 4445 but you can change that) to the server specified in
web_hostname in the same config file (you can comment it out to connect to
the same host as specified in your browser's url).

It does not signal a problem between op_server.pl and the asterisk manager
(that used port 5038 by default), but a problem between the flash client and
op_server.pl.

There is a chance that you have a mismatch between client and server
version, like client 0.23 and server 0.26 or 0.27. In that case, the client
does not know how to handle empty web_hostnames or the port to connect to.

I do not use freebsd, but it seems that you might have problems in FreeBSD
too, as its flash client is kind of ancient too. Someone reported success
using opera under freeBSD, you should try the same if you are using that.

Best regards,
