Hello,
Is there a way to transfer a call to the parkinglot via the panel? If I set up:

[SIP/70]

-or-

[PARKING/70]

The call is disconnected when I try to transfer. I'm getting the feeling that it's not even possible, but I wanted to check with the list before I go tell my boss that it can't be done.

The extension to transfer the call to is defined with the Extension parameter, not the channel name. You can have a button that says:

[DUMMY/BUTTON]
Extension=70
Position=n

and it will kind of work. I say 'kind' because when you redirect a call to park within the manager interface, strange things happen (the person being parked hears the park slot instead the person performing the parking, the call cannot bounce back, etc...

Hello,

I realized after I sent my original message yesterday that I didn't include the entire configuration for my Parking Lot Buttons.

This is what I currently have:

[PARK/70]
Position=62
Icon=3
Extension=70
Label="70 : Park"

[PARK/71]
Position=63
Icon=3
Extension=71
Label="71 : Park"

...

[PARK/79]
Position=71
Icon=3
Extension=79
Label="79 : Park"

71-79 are soley for watching the Parking Lot of course...

I've changed nothing since your email last night, so my description from yesterday still holds up. When a call is dragged via the panel into the parking lot, the call is disconnected.

Once I get it working, I will have my receptionist test it, and if she can live with the peculiarities, then so can I.

Thanks for your help,

Chesley
